slackwire rigging
Slackwire can be rigged in a variety of situations, both indoors and outdoors, combining the excitement, drama, height and thrill of wire-walking and aerial arts with relatively minimal rigging requirements.
I will provide two a-frame structures as well as the necessary equipment to rig the slackwire to common types of anchor points.
Requirements of the space:
1. Flat level playing space 25 ft wide and 10 ft deep (5 ft of clearance on either side of the rope).
2. Two sturdy anchor points at or near ground level, at least 30 ft (up to 50 ft) apart, capable of supporting a load of at least 1,000 lb each.
The slackwire can be rigged using pre-existing structures including trees, posts, structural beams, etc. and additionally weights (concrete, water, etc.) capable of supporting a load of at least 1,000 lb each may be used. Please contact me for further information and to discuss the specific needs of your venue.
