I created this Mantis puppet for A Frayed Knot Circus' show The Vivarium.
I built two small-scale, cardboard prototypes of the Mantis head before constructing the final version in foam. This was followed by a period of movement research with the puppet and, ultimately, putting it onstage in The Vivarium. |
